Original 1939 1940 1941 Era Ford Hydraulic Brake Rear Backing Plates OEM V8

  

Various Late 30's-Early 40's Ford. Description: This is an original pair of hydraulic brake rear backing plates for various 1930's-40's Ford applications. These backing plates are in need of a trip to the sandblast cabinet to clean up the surface rust. The original wheel cylinders are still in-tact but are rusted and will probably need to be replaced.

There are no unintended bends or repairs seen on either backing plate. There may be some lite surface pitting after they get cleaned up but nothing major. The final picture shows a small rust hole needing repair in one of the emergency brake tubes. These backing plates measure 13" in diameter and have a center opening of 3-7/8". Overall, these will clean up nicely to prep for new paint and installation on your period correct hot rod or restoration. Do not miss out on this hard to find part for your classic.
